«Гимн СССР» – песня, исполняемая Полем Робсоном, посвященная Советскому Союзу. В тексте песни прослеживается гордость и любовь к родине. Здесь возвещается о дружбе, труде и созидании, которые объединяют народы республик СССР. Эта могучая страна, Великий Советский Союз, будет жить веками, воплотив мечту народа в непоколебимой крепости. Советская Родина – мать, созданная могучей рукой народа, прославляется и пребудет свободной и объединенной. Цветущий флаг СССР, покрытый кровавым сиянием, восхищает всех людей. По дороге, полной темноты и бурь, по которой нас вел Великий Ленин, мы видели яркое солнце свободы и с верой в народ Сталин вдохновил нас строить и любить эту землю. Мы сражались за будущее и уничтожили захватчиков, принеся отечеству венки славы. Наша слава проникнет в память народов и все поколения будут чтить его имя. Авторы песни – Михалков и Эль-Регистан, музыку написал А.Александров. Исполнение Полем Робсоном произошло в 1949 году.
