Текст песни Monica Sex — Maka afora

She said to me: look,
life is quite easy,
we'll rent us a room in southern Tel-Aviv
and live like grown-ups
and we'll live one minute at a time
we"ll find a temporary job, nothing serious, and sign in the [unemployment] bureau as well
maybe you'll also find some subject for writing
nothing deep, something sweet, a love story
with lots of metaphors
with lots of similes
the hero will be drunk
like you are in life

There's a beautiful pain that passes quickly
when I want not to remember
how I stood there
how I told her
That way you are beautiful
that is what you need
that is what I want
and that's how it's gonna be

It happened in the autumn of last year
it sets down like a gray blow on the city
I remember she said
I remember how everything crumbled
maybe you remember
what are you saying?
what are you saying now?
maybe I'll also find a subject for writing
nothing important, something sad, a love story
without metaphors
without similes
the hero will be drunk
like I am in life

There's a beautiful pain...
